They're just people too

I had an audition last week for a short film. I walk in the room and the director sits on the other end of this long table. He doesn't say "Hello" or "Thanks for coming in" nope the first thing out of his mouth is "Oh, good! You look older than your picture! I almost said "too young"!"
First off let me give you an insight into my brain and what I'm thinking during this. (warning I'm not like other actors).
"What the f*#ck kind of greeting is that?!"
"You look like Charlie Murphy, but I didn't blurt that out now did I?!
"Is this some kind of psychological bull s*$t you learned in directing school?!"
"Why was I called in?!"
"Turrets?!"
"I don't want to work for this moron!"
I'll repeat that last one.
"I don't want to work for this moron!"
When you've been doing this as long as I have the audition goes both ways. As much as I'd like the job and love to work I'd rather not work for a moron that can't greet someone properly when they walk in the door.
My response was "You're the only person that's ever said that." which is the truth. After all if you got five different people to look at a headshot separately and without conferring with each other, you're going to have five different opinions. It's subjective. One person hates them, one person loves them. In the end however it's not your headshot that's going to be performing the scene. Just needed to vent a bit.
